MESA is a dining table that I commissioned from Arflex Japan to design and commercialized at RIVA in Italy. It was realized by collaboration of three parties.
The combinations of hard legs reminiscent of building and solid wood texture create an eye-catching beauty.
Legs support the top board of a large solid tree. The legs are sharp and well balanced shaped by processing an iron plate of 8mm in thickness into a T-shaped cross section. It is as powerful as the legs supporting a large span bridge.
Also, it does not interfere with the chairs or people’s movements surrounding the table. |
