In city halls, hotels, banks, galleries or hospitals... These reception seatings are, with the state of congested reception spaces in mind, named "SOPRA FIUME" after the manner and flow of the people gathered and chatting, reminiscent of the current of rivers. As the embodiment of human activities in different places, I designed these seatings to be one vision of space embodied in industrial facture. TICINO has connecting benches and corner tables resembling a meandering river in the plain, dividing halls and lobbies and creating rhythm in a monotonous space. Simple and flowing form. |
