The conversion from hand work to mechanical work. By the manufacturer's request, I used "CRESCENDO" of urushi lacquer finished cabinet as a model, and by changing from hands to machines, lacquer to polyester and polyurethane finish and analog methods to systematic methods, I re-designed the cabinet and added the table and the chairs to the series.
I chose dyed silk tones of whitish brown, pink grey, rusty red, purple and black, and tried different combinations of shape, resulting in a somewhat sweet taste owing perhaps to the difference in the finishings and details. |
